Thoughts on Cap or Vedder?
« on: September 04, 2011, 06:40:18 PM »

Hey guys, a morning off tomorrow or Tuesday and just looking to get out on the river.  Any suggestions on Cap vs Vedder right now, coming from Vancouver.  Want to avoid Richmond and the Fraser ;D

Gonna go for a but of a hike and explore either river with a bit of fishing along the way.

Thanks for the feedback

I stopped by the vedder for a few hours yesterday and didn't see much life.  I'd give it another week.  Can't speak for the cap though.

The water level in the Cap is still very low so maybe do some fishing off Ambleside

Pretty slow on the cap right now, ive been averaging one a day in the last 7 days... 4hrs fishing... but i fly fish... spinning gear is a waste of time right now in my honest opinion.

cap is pretty bad right now not gonna lie, water is way too low and the fish that are in the river are stale as play
