Happy New Year to everyone.
Is it really this slow?
Come on guys. And gals.
Do I have to get off the couch and away from watching all the College football and English soccer games to get an update on the steelhead? :'(
Reports please.  8) ::)

Getting off the couch and on the river is the best way to find out how the fishing is. Happy new year.

They were so thick in the river I walked across them to the other side. I saw a guy driving his 4 by 4 midstream without getting his wheels wet just up the run from me. It got boring after my first fifty,those 90 pounders took it out of me.

I had one on today and almost had it in when the fish dept. Manager at Superstore yelled at me to get my hook out of the tank. :o

You guys are all doing it wrong!!!

You need a 12ft leader & a 4oz Betty. I've been winching them out every 4 casts on the vedder.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Well the truth is that the percentage viewing this great site is quite small compared to the number of people fishing. So go out on the Vedder and find out. Nobody is going to tell you where is best to fish. Here are lots of good videos with guys hooking fish and sometimes you can tell where the video was filmed.
Good Luck!

Get out and fish. Bookmark the water level readings and keep on it and know where to go. Steelhead season is very dear to the majority and I would like to keep it that way.

The report hasn't been updated since the 23rd, but quite a few fish have been caught since.
