Oct 20 tyee day

Landed a 30 lb plus Chinook today on a Silver Colorado 25 min fight it was a White. One other Chinook on two casts after the first one but it spit the hook great fight as well .There out there in numbers at the honey hole again. Coho riseing too, Sturgeon hunting tommorow.

why bonk a greasy white mess like that ...I can't believe your touching it with your bare hands !!    don't stink up your smoker with that boot; let it sit in Ur freezer for a year then chuck it out.    Thats what I do anyway

i bet that fish is brighter then it appears because if you noticed, the sun is hitting him from the left. His body is blocking it from the light and therefore looking dark.

Very firm meat nothing wrong with it had tons of life it fought hard . Great smoker material it's in a Brine as I type this and will be candy in two days .

  Not to mention the 6lbs of prime Roe . This fish was freshest one of the day where i was and I don't need to keep it as I have lots of Ocean caught Springs from the west coast . I hear whites are good smoked and I thought I would try out my buddies smoker . Grub i will save you a peice of the tasty candy.

Grub......do you know what a spawned out fish looks like? nice catch legend. caught me a nice hatchery coho on the flow this evening and its chillin in the fridge for tommorrow. wifes got the camera at work so no pics unfortuneatley. goin  again tommorrow as well.
