lower Fraser north arm (Sept. 13th.)
« on: September 13, 2007, 10:51:20 PM »

Went to the usual spot on north arm after work, trying to prove it's a better spot than the south arm. I arrived at the spot at 4pm, and saw fishersak(Mark) just arrived at the spot too.  We started casting away shortly after.  The incoming tide seemed promising, with a few surface action started to  happen.  There were about 7 - 8 fishermen fishing at the spot, but no one was able to entice any of the teasing pinks to bite.  Just when i was about to count down for a few more casts and leave, at around 6pm, at the end of one of my retrieves a fish grabbed my crystal pink spoon near the surface, causing some splashes.... FISH ON! ( Mark screamed  ;D)  The fight was on for about 3 mins, with the fish making two runs when it was brough close to the shore, and when i brough it back in for the third time, Mark was able to net it for me.   A nice silver Doe, around 4 lbs.  Thanks again Mark.

That was my first one ever from the north arm. :)   Persistency paid off i guess.
