looking for coho

can anyone provide some info on where i can target some coho on the vedder this is my 2nd year trying and have been unsuccessfull.

Rino, if anyone posts any locations on the forum it will be a zoo.  I'd suggest going for a walk and exploring.  Best way to find good coho water.

Try asking your local shop for the latest information and make a few trips to test the waters yourself. Keep in mind that if you don't see fish, it doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't there - it just might be the wrong sort of water that you are targeting. Do you spin fish or chuck flies?

For coho avoid the deep and fast water wher ethe springs are. Try the slower water off to the side, tailouts, or slack water locations.

im sure its been done before, but from my personal experience, where the springs are usually the coho are not.

thank you for the replies. I will start in some shallow water around the upper portion river with some blades ans see if i can connect!just ate lots of turkey and gonna get my gear ready for tomorow!

hey rhino

you should go and talk with some guys that have some experience and time to explain stuff to you. a good place is pacific angler or high water tackle good guys work in these shops and they will take the time to get you pointed in the right direction.
