When I updated the forum program a few months ago, I accidentally deleted the avatar directory and disabled the file upload function. I just realized that and turned it back on so everyone can upload a picture file for their avatar again.
Avatar is the image that sits under your name when you make a post.
To upload a file for your avatar, simply click on the "profile" button, then click on "forum profile information" on the left. select the picture file that you wish to upload by clicking on the browse button beside "I will upload my own picture:".
A tip, to speed up the uploading process, manually resize your picture on your computer first with any picture editing program. The maximum avatar size is 150px X 150px so the forum program will always resize it to that dimension no matter how big your image is. The bigger your image is, the longer it takes to upload.
Be cautious on what image you are uploading. The moderators will remove any images that we believe to be offensive to other members.
