vedder/chehalis nov.4
« on: November 04, 2005, 07:00:10 PM »

Headed up to the chehalis this morning after early week results. but to my surprise the water level dropped alot more than i would have thought, anyways tried some holes and didn't get any ho's to bite, thought id head up to the canyon but the parking lot was like a walmarts. So thought id take a trip over to the vedder. Got there around 1:00, fished a few holes with nothing happening and then decided to check out my fav spot. Shure enough there was fish there. At this spot its a clear pool and hiding amongst the rocks keeping still you can see them swim by. I saw about 100 chum and 5 springs go by in 2hrs, only once was there a pair of cohos that swam by, and didn't even get a chance to click my drag before they saw me and spooked off. This trip has made me undecided about the weekend trip.

On another note does any one know if the stamp is still producing good numbers of coho, and if so how late does the run usually produce?
