Thanks for this.   I wondered why the Squamish was not in great shape this year.   Saves me a trip :)

Well Gill from Highwater posted a couple fresh chum from Squamish on her instagram recently so they are being caught.

Yeah, you're gonna be able to pick up that many fish or more pretty much anywhere on the stave.

Where do people launch for the Stave?

Mission, or Albion.

20 minutes either way on a clear day, but heavy morning fog the past few days.

Just go to the Stave tomorrow. I got positive intel that the chum fishery has been pretty good since yesterday morning. Lots of fresh fish coming in, with a few coho in the mix for the surprise element. I will most likely check it out myself, but later in the morning.
Tight lines.

Yes I went yesterday. Lots of chum. LOTS of boneheads congregating in some areas dredging the bottom as well, but we were well away fishing the water that cannot be bounced. Caught more than I can remember, many extremely fresh fish, minimal coloring and covered in sea lice. Didn't even have to pay attention to my float they were hitting it so hard.

Sounds fun. I've only been once, near the dam, and it was not deep at all. How far away is the deeper after?
