Posted on August 21st, 2006 by Rodney Hsu, webmaster
The Alouette River in Maple Ridge, is often littered with garbage due to urbanization and heavy recreational usage in the summer. To combat this, there will be a Alouette River cleanup taking place during this year's Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup.
Date: September 16th, 2006
Meeting Time: 8:00am.
Meeting Place: Maple Ridge Park. Meet in the first parking lot on 232nd.
The Alouette River needs your help! Despite of all the threats, this river continues to see good returns of salmon, trout and steelhead. If you fish it regularly, please come out and join us on September 16th!
