Bass Fishing Techniques

I heard of Cultus Lake being a good spot to try for Smallmouth Bass. This is my first time bass fishing and want to try this spot :D. I have two questions:

1. What moths and times are good for fishing in this lake for bass?

2. What should I use to target these bass? I know the commons answer is worms on a hook but I want to do lure fishing, so should I use plastic worms, crankbaits, chatterbaits, etc...?

Well the truth is.     If you use the right moth!  You will notice the time doesn’t matter it’s all about that moth.
