Assuming you are talking about Kawkawa Lake in Hope, there is limited parking along the road over looking the launch

Go early in the am to get a parking spot on the rd where the boat launch is. Not sure if it’s open this spring. Last spring the city blockaded the public boat launch with concrete dividers.

https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/travel/current

It appears Hope is considered Interior for the current restrictions.

My understanding is that we are allowed (but not recommended) to travel and fish between Boston Bar and Pemberton.  So any crowded urban lake is fair game, but those (now) deserted lakes over the Coquihalla are out of bounds.

I clicked on the find your health region Hope is listed under Fraser Health which it is. Yet the ministerial order says otherwise good luck enforcing that when the same website shows otherwise.

It's not about enforcement. It never really was, it's about trying to keep the virus from spreading to cities that are incapable of handling an outbreak right now. Stay within the health region as defined by the health authority right now unless it's essential to do otherwise and then hopefully we can fish everywhere this summer/fall.
