Bow mount trolling motor on Spratley

I have a 10’ Spratley and have been using a 30lbs transom mount minn kota. Realizing I wanted more push/pull, and not wanting to go gas, I’ve read that bow mount versions are a little faster as they “pull” you through the water. I’ve seen a ton of bass boats at my local lake in California use these systems but I’m not sure how well they would perform on my Jon boat. Any recommendations?
