Leafs I believe will win one & lose one on average for 17/18 season.
Break even in blackjack but will miss the playoffs. It will take more than 40 or so wins to make the playoffs. TO coach just looks like his message is getting old & it will fall on deaf ears. Leafs players will tune him out. ( players fault not the coach. )
Vancouver should get near 50-55 wins thus making the playoffs, mainly because the coach will know how to light a fire under players butts.
Let's check at the end of the season & see how my predictions & forecasts pan out.
Give me another glass of red wine please.

You forgot to mention the score of course it was embarrassing as your boys lost 9 - 4. :P Time to leave the sinking ship, I will put in a good word for you as my assistant adviser. Would include some nice trips East too. ;D ;D

A - Boater will be drinking a lot of wine to drown his sorrow this year. ???

Chris; your counter punching is very good. Ouch.
Only time will tell who's team will be better.
In this corner the Toronto Maple Leafs & in the other opposite corner FA & Al's & the millions of fans  " THE VANCOUVER CANUCKS ! "
Red wine drinking will only take place after Canucks wins. Better stock up my supply.
Lots of victories ahead.
Canucks will get serious when the season starts.

Chris is very quiet this evening after his team's pathetic effort. Heavily into A-BOATER'S wine I think. ;D

An idea came to me.
Whenever the Vancouver Canucks win I will have a glass of my favourite red wine & now for the new idea. ( drum roll please ) whenever the Leafs lose, it will signal me to also have a glass of red wine  ;D
With all the projected Canuck wins & Leaf losses my wine inventory has to be doubled.
Leafs loss to Ottawa was scary.
Leafs did have good puck possession when they had a 2 man advantage.
But they just passed it around to each other & barely decided to shoot the puck ????
Ottawa did not have to kill the penalties as the Maple Leafs did it for them.
When a team has a two man advantage they have to put on the pressure to get 1-2 goals.
Score was 4-1 at the time. If they got at least one goal during the two man advantage it's 4-2 & now they would of had a chance. Passing the puck to each other for 45-60 secs without shooting?????
The fans are going to get grey hair fast. Just for Men hair dye sales may go up in the Toronto area.

With your new idea A-BOATER you would be an alcoholic by mid season. I hate wine so I'll just whine whenever Canada's team lose  :)
