Esk QB Reilly  ( sp? ) was a BC Lion.
He hates to lose & he's a fighter to get the W in most every game he's played.

Calgary  / Ottawa tie game. Stamps came back in that one.
That totally totally hate to lose head coach of Calgary must still be fuming over last year's Grey Cup loss.
This guy of all guys must be the #1 guy who hates to lose.
He's all business 24/7. His plays fans management know it.
When he wins it is bliss & loses are crushing & totally he gets frowns serious look " watch out. "
What did we do wrong is his view & not what the other team did right.
We lost because we did not all do our job.
Every play counts with him.
Alberta get their $$$ worth when he's in charge.

Johnson got flagged for two holding calls which nullified big gains. Defence gave up too many big plays none other than the last minute reception by Zyslstra.

Seen the highlights of game & Zyslstra must be the invisible man because he was so wide open it was like the D backs did not see him on the field.
D should of been sitting back 15 - 20 yards & only allow infront completions. Unreal to give up big yardage in that fashion.
Understandable if it was a circus catch but so wide open at that point of the game. 
Penalties ya mention definitely hurt.
Wally going to start "blinking a lot " if Lions lose in like fashion in coming games.
Ya look who is Als coach this year ( partly last season as well )

Agree completely, the Lions snatched defeat from the jaws of victory with the stupid penalties. This years edition needs to learn discipline.

In my first Lions game back in the 60s Empire Stadium....  ( maybe 11-12 yrs old or so... got season tickets from Eatons Dept. Store order. 3 rd floor ? Columbia St New Westminster Columbia Stage Bus Lines days
Columbian Newspaper days...25 cents a bus fare days 25 cents a glass of draft beer days...fire crackers the size of a stick of dynamite days... Beatles Elvis Rolling Stones days " Rolling Stones still days !!! )
......the Lions lost. Remember thinking " I'm going to work out pump iron train & join the BC Lions & try to will win. Thought it was a noble cause. 
Ted Gerela, Evenchan, Jim Young, on & on... lots of great history to the CFL.
Great action really. Starts from the top & the coaches etc ..instil the true honour & desire.
Remember those great Edmonton teams? Case closed. Believe 5 Grey Cups in a row. Wow.

Hopefully not 7-0 for the Leafs. ( play offs had a game like not so long ago. Or Edmonton losing 4-3 in OT after blowing a 3-0 lead with 3:01 on the clock !!! Has to be the most red faced shocking game )
Ya just know some CFL team will get a big lead in a game but still lose the game sometime this season.

The Leaf fans with Jerseys had more of a sheepish body language leaving the rink.
But the team is so improved fans wear Leaf apparel instead of paper brown bags like they did 2-10 yrs ago 
Vancouver fans better see Ws or else we (they) will be wearing the paper over our heads.
Hope the Lions can ROAR & get 1st place !!!!
If so they only need 2 Ws & they are the CHAMPS ! ( 2 games ...far cry from the NHL needing 16 wins  )
