Should you catch a halli greater than the 126 cm limit, releasing it will be quite a thrash, they are hard to handle.  The big barn door girls are usually landed with the aid of a harpoon because they are so tough to manage.   Can you imagine trying to make the length measurement in a choppy sea?

ref rogers lodge,so if you buy 60 lbs of halibut @5.00 per lb is this a commercial fish or a sport caught fish if its commercial then you can sell it for 10.00 a lb. if sport no selling allowed.   this lodge is breaking ranks with the other lodges who dont want this program at all.
