Just to show.... you can't please ALL of the people ALL of the time...  :-X

I find it reassuring that the DFO is spreading their time around all fishers.  Its obvious thru the numbers that there is no favoritism.  Well - except for those who don't follow the regulations  :D

Rodney, thanks for the link. 

I was glad to see that there is some effective enforcement being done.  I was not surprised, but a little bit 'bugged', when I noticed that 50% of the officer's time is spent on paperwork, training, administration.  Too bad that there is not a more efficient way to get the administration part done, then hopefully allowing the officers more time in the field.

Obviously, I am not a big fan of paperwork !!

Good point Min-how many times when they get a call about some poachers are they tied up with piles of paper.

It's just like cops...a lot of their "paperwork" and "administration" is preparing charges, testifying, legal stuff with gov't lawyers, etc. All the stuff that goes along with arresting/ticketing a poacher. Now if only they could deal out "river justice" in the field........ ;)
