Redl Sports website
« on: February 01, 2007, 11:38:41 AM »

I just made the Redl Sports Distributor website online. Please take a look:

http://www.redlsports.com/

The Trophy XL and Dragonfly sections are currently available:

http://www.redlsports.com/dragonfly

Keep in mind that the website is still at its early stages, so please keep the feedbacks coming and I will make the changes necessary. Retailers, you may want to add the above links to your websites. If there are specific questions regarding the website, you can either send me a private message or email me at info@fishingwithrod.com.

No it doesn't. The website is served as a reference for customers who wish to find out information on their products with a few clicks on the mouse. There is a dealer list (which is currently being updated as more dealers' info reach my inbox) for those who are interested in purchasing products by Trophy XL, Dragonfly, etc.

I've just bashed around in it some.  On the opening page, in the Our Products column, the first two categories, Trophy XL and Dragonfly, are buttons (links) to take you to pages with those products.  I expected the third one, North River, to also be a link, but it isn't.

After bashing around for awhile, I wanted to get back to the opening page, and it took me awile to figure out Redl Sprorts = home.

It looks professional, like it was done on glossy paper.  The writing is clear and matter of fact.  I imagine Redl Sports is satisfied.

Do you mind telling us how you charge for doing such a web page?

Thanks Keith. Both North River and Angler sections are coming in about a week from now. :)

The return to homepage issue is certainly worth revisiting, I will do that. I actually stared and thought about it for a long time during the development stage regarding that. As a developer, you always try to put yourself in the visitor's shoes and make sure he or she can navigate just as well I do. :)

The cost depends on size of website, an be anywhere from 400 dollars to 3,000 dollars+.

FYI, the MSRPs are now available for Trophy XL and Dragonfly's rods and reels.
