Title: Warrior jon boat reviews
Post by: Derp on January 10, 2023, 09:57:41 AM
I've tried but couldn't find any reviews on Warrior aluminum welded jon boats. From what I'm told they are apparently manufactured locally in Chilliwack, but can't confirm.

Does anyone own one and are they decently built compared to other brands (lowe, G3, etc). The hull gauge is beefier at .059 vs .043 in a Lowe.

Thanks

Are these are the ones you are looking at?

If it is, have a look at this thread with some discussion on them:

If it's the same ones, they are not made locally but imported from China. Have a close read of that thread, as there seems to be some caveats. Unfortunately they're a relatively unknown brand so getting first hand testimonials might be hard.

As an aside, the pricing on these style boats has gone off the charts since covid. Easily doubled in just a few years, and supply apparently has been 'challenging'. If you're willing to drop that much on a hull, also keep an eye on the resale market and be ready to jump on anything decent ASAP.

Thanks for the response and info. Those are the exact boats I was referring to and the sale price is attractive, but the weld quality is not. It appears I may have been mislead by the dealer about their origins also.
