Title: Cabin lake
Post by: danielk on November 27, 2022, 07:00:09 PM
Soo I was messing around looking at 4x4 vids on YouTube and I stumbled upon cabin lake trail.  Or mini whipsaw       It’s a beautiful little lake by merrit.    I was just wondering if it has fish in it. I was thinking about going there next year camping.  With my belly boat.  And fly gear.      Any thought on this lake. Do you think it freezes completely.  It’s very high up ?

The best book you can get is the BACKRoads series showing roads and even has a fishing section
Make sure you get the one for that region .
I have taken this book on a road trip and stopped at many small lakes to check them out .
Turned out to be one of the better trips for fishing I have had

The fish are tiny but they will bite literally anything.

Thanks guys.   Ya I have many backroad maps lol and gps.      It’s easy to get turned around on that mountain.      I mainly want to go scouting for deer and it looks like such a nice spot.  For hiking and fishing but if it’s a dead lake that’s to bad  lightning isn’t to far from it
