I'm kinda surprised no one has brought this up, or have I missed something? I was speaking to a few local river fishing veterans about this Wednesday, and no one seemed to know anything about this. Construction in the area begins next month, apparently. Does anyone know if the Vedder (TMP) crossing is an above river crossing (with the new bridge TM pledges to build as a benefit to the community), or are they putting it under the river? I'm concerned for the local wildlife (fish especially) in this project.

Thanks for this stsfisher; appears that they are using trenchless under the river to try to avoid disturbance.

Good discussion as I was wondering where and how the TMP would be crossing the Chilliwack River.
As I see their progress just east of Chilliwack it might be happening next year IMO.
I found this on their website.
They'll be open cutting the trench through Browne Wetlands across from Lickman Road area.
