Post by: VAGAbond on June 29, 2021, 01:57:15 PM
Clear and sunny.  Air temp. 101 at 13:45.  Water temp. 74’F at 8 ft.  Large smoke column from fire to east.  Some folks are catching a few morning and evening fish but slow.

When did you arrive there? We stayed at Sky Hi from Wed, 23 to Sunday, 27.

Between high winds, whitecaps and the heat, fishing conditions were tuff.

We arrived 27th and stayed thru 39th.  Calm and hot.  Temperature peaked at 42’C (107’F).   Too hot for fishing most of day.  Big Sparks Lake fire to East.  RCMP came around about 11 PM and said leave now.
