I highly doubt that Kroenk is in need of financial help. Between his wife being a Wal-Mart heir and the slew of sports teams they own, money isn't an issue. It is nice to see David swinging at Goliath though.

The cattle company is “trying to get water over private land privatized, and privatizing water is a huge issue,” McGowan said.
“It is consistent with their actions so far of doing everything they can to cut off public access,” he said. “All lakes in B.C. are public lakes — I don’t know how anyone could challenge that.”
McGowan has never been to Silvermere, it seems :P

I have to admit that the idea of private lakes does make me wonder sometimes.
