those bullcrap enbridge commercials are misleading..... the channel looks nothing like what they depict. they also fail to mention the name of the biggest travel lane.. it's called 'devastation' which seems a perfect name for whats about to happen.
lets bring bitumen tankers through a channel called devastation. sounds perfect to me. might as well fill the douglas channel with fish farms after everything indigenous dies. its a win win for everyone. and fisherbob will be kitimats new mayor.

The Douglas is pretty nice. Lots of sheer rock cliffs that climb nearly vertical. Some serious depth changes and currents.... The halibut and cod fishing isn't as good as say prince Rupert. But some great crabbing and prawning. Salmon doesn't get much easier too.... Couple of great hot springs that people have worked on as well. Nice to relax in after a day bobbing on the chuck.

When the pipe is old,one crack the whole valley is full of oil.Don't see how they can stop fast enough and the clean up.
