Title: You know there's not enough salmon when...
Post by: Morty on November 26, 2008, 06:59:32 PM
On Saturday I was down at Albertson's getting my $5 turkey  (gotta make up the $200 a pound that my self caught fish protein is costing me)
Anyway, while we're shopping a sample lady comes by serving "salmon flavoured" patay on crackers.

Apparently they're now using the white fish caught in Alaska and giving it sockeye colour and flavour.  It's probably OK if you've had lots to drink or never had wild salmon before.  Right up there on the list with Jones' salmon flavoured soda.

That gives a new meaning to the name "fake salmon" i thought farmed salmon was bad enough but this is just ridiculous.
