It is a bit how would you say ....  "brisk" this morning!! But, it is supposed to get a bit colder with 40cm of snow in the forecast for Wednesday!! I forgot my camera in the rush but if I can come into one to use, get try to get some pics of the blizzard if it comes!! ;)
As for the yellow snow, I haven't come across any as of yet, but I 'll keep that in mind!! ;D

Won't be any time for that!!  As much as I wouldn't mind giving it a go, but from what I remember, I was never really good at finding the fish while we were fishing.  Everytime I did hook into something, I was wandering around and by the time I made it to the rod, it was gone!!  ::) So ahh, No, I won't be ice fishing!! ;)

How much fun is hooking onto a chunk of ice....

uh huh Look Martha, get the pot fired up, I caught another block  :D  ;) :D

There aint too many lakes in The Peg area, and from what I remember when I was there last, the only thing in the river isn't worth fishing for.

Catfish capital of Canada ;) Try grabing one through the ice, probably some people doin that right now there.

Check out the Golden boy and that Masonic parliment building. Blew me away counting the steps. Watching the sun rise on the solstice throught the east window of the main hall can't be missed.

The snow has begun, coming down pretty good as well!!!  I'll try to get some pics!!  But I don't have a digital at the moment!!! ::) :)  Actually kind of warm right now as well!!  Only -6!!  Not much wind at the moment, but I am sure that will change when this system gets into it groove!! ;D
Haven't been downtown yet, but when my girl gets here on Friday, we will spend a couple min so she can see the few sightseeing spots Winterpeg has!!!  Maybe take a walk on the river out by the forks!!

Well, my Dad's funeral is today.  Things have been going well so far.  Remembering all the good times has been good for us all.  Seems to me though, as we look through all the old albums that fishing is the theme of most of them!!!  I have scanned a bunch of old pics from the years gone past, even one from 1960 of my Dad fishing the Shubneacadie River in Nova Scotia.  So over the next little while they will make it into my photo album!!

Smile :D your dad is catchin all the ones that got away now.

Old fishermen never die, they dont just go fishing anymore, they go catching.
What a better way to spend your day. Sittin on a beach, catchin all the bigs ones.
