Post by: Reservoir Dog on February 26, 2006, 01:31:51 PM
I was searching Google maps, and hit the Satellite feature and got a really cool picture of LaFarge Lake. If you know the address of somewhere kool. Post a Satellite link to it. http://maps.google.com/

LaFarge Lake (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=1200+Pinetree+Way,+Coquitlam,+BC,+Canada&ll=49.286689,-122.788224&spn=0.012793,0.041628&t=h)

Have you tried Google Earth yet??

If you tilt the map you can "fly" along the Fraser!! or even down your own road.

I often do this and try to relive the last trip to BC after Sturgeon and Salmon.

Great fun!

Google Earth is nice, if you wanna pay for the Pro Edition, otherwise everything you look at is eactly the same as what you get on Maps.google.com

For those that wanna experience Google Earth the web address is http://earth.google.com
