Well, it looks like all the fishermen's wives got together and did the mother of all RAIN DANCE and we cannot go fishing for at least one or two weeks!!!!!!

Its unbelievable to get such a string of hard downpours >:(....i am getting so anxious to get on the river...guess i'll have to wait just a little bit longer....... :(

Can't stand staying around the house. Going tomorrow come hell or high water.

good luck, you might get into the odd one if you know where to fish high water ;)

Guys,
Just remember the fish don't stop eating if their home is a little wetter than usual. ;)
Forget about the rain - just fish!
Tight lines

You are correct David, but... you have to know where they might be in such high dirty water, and, you pretty much have to put it an inch from them or they won't see it!! But, yeah, there is a chance to get chinook, chum or coho in this type of water, but there just isn't the numbers of steelhead to be successful at this on a regular basis. If you just want to get out because of being bored silly, then by all means!!! Have at it!! ;D ;D Be careful though, the river banks in some areas are not that stable with the weather that we have been having!!
Btw, we are now at 26 days in a row!! Might as well just go for the record now!! ::)

Thanks for the tips BS. How about some liquid smelly attractor on the bait, then the fish can smell you out in the dirty water?

That would help!! But if I were you, I would get a BIG pink worm and head to the upper river. It just might be fishable enough!! I have caught a fair amount of fish on the upper in water that you would think was way to dirty, but with that big worm they still saw it, and smashed it!!!

Sounds good BS, take a look at my reply to you on the "Clean up" thread.

I've caught lot of fish in high water. Fish close to shore, use bigger lures.
