Title: Lions Season Dashed
Post by: chris gadsden on November 20, 2005, 09:00:59 PM
To bad the Lions lost there bid to reach the Grey Cup today in the loss to Edmonton. I thought there should have been a penalty on that last play that could have given them the win. >:( :(

Second guessing but should Printers have been the starter?

It's too bad that the Lions failed to win :'( but why is everyone surprised?

1. They had a quarterback injured for majority of season.
2. They had a quarterback pretending to be injured for much of the season.
3. They had two quarterbacks who did not get along
4. They failed to beat Edmonton twice prior to this final
5. They were 1-7 in the last half of the season.
6. Their defensive line absolutely sucked, especially the two defensive tackles.

Again, it's unfortunate, especially since the Grey Cup is in Vancouver this year. However, it certainly should be no surprise.

Typical Vancouver sports team a chance to go to the final which were hosting and we don't show up for the first half of the game. The offense sucked except for the one Geroy Simon 90 yrd score you can't win a game if you only play one half. Our defense played good and gave us a chance to win forcing the turn overs but the offense sucked . The lions are going to have a hole new look next season.
