Searun17 brough up an interesting question in the general discusion room. So I brought it over here cause I wanted to see a poll on it.  So have at it if you want.  May the best fish win!!!!!!!

Like i said in a previous forum coho are fun to catch aslso good eating if its a hatch, But spring is a fight of a life time and i dont understand how you would rather have a coho on instead of a strong spring for the sport of it. Isant it more of a test for you to land a huge fish i personaly dont even feel much of a fight from a coho on the vedder and i got it on 20 pound main 18 pound leader.

I love the springs; but sheer 4 fight nothing beats a chum pound 4 pound.

Try using 8 pound leader instead of 18 for coho.  When in the bigger pools and trying to land a spring 12 is what i do. They do put up one hell of a fight though. Sometimes i wish i had 15 pound leader with those big hogs. I think it is fun to mix it up with a spring every now and then.
