Title: Nanaimo - Westwood Lake
Post by: aquaboy24 on June 27, 2005, 09:28:09 PM
Hey Gents long time no speak!
I have temporarily relocated to Nanaimo, and am curious about the fishing here. Are there any rivers in the Nanaimo area that see good salmon runs? How about up at port Alberni - when does it pick up from shore up there?

And close to where I am, is Westwood Lake....are there any secrets to getting trout out of there?

All  my fishing is from shore, so if you have some advise, keep that in mind - thanks, and tight lines!
Vince

Sockeyes are showing in Alberni Inlet. The Stamp system should be producing sockeyes.
