Title: Which Lake do you prefer......
Post by: jettabambino on May 13, 2005, 08:06:04 AM
Hello everyone...

I have some relatives who have never caught a fish before that are visiting and want to be taken fishing.  The trick is that we only have 2-3 hours to do it and they dont want to drive that much so squamish is out of the question...... :'(

so i think here are my options since i am in north van... you tell me what you would do...

Option #1 Rice Lake.
I dont really want to go there mainly because I think its slowly getting fished out.. Talked to a buddy who was there last week and caught nothing.....

Option #2  Sassamatt lake...
I have no idea where this is but people say its a great lake ... I have never been whats it like ? what would you  pick?   and if you pick sassamat where is it???

Thanks guys and have a great fishing weekend..

Rainbow trout, dolly varden, cutthroat trout, northern pikeminnow.

You can spin, baitfish or flyfish for them.

Buntzen Lake is just east of Sasamat Lake.
