Title: Whats your most effective way to fish...

For Trout in a Lake i would say............Float with a long leader a weight about 4-6 inches away from the hook and multi colored power bait usually...

For salmon in a river i would say..........the typical river float setup. favorite baits consist of roe

what do you use... and different methods...

Post by: Rodney on May 09, 2005, 09:11:38 PM: Actually I would say most of the members are river/drift/gear fishermen on this forum due to the content of the website. Slowly trying to introduce more flyfishing content onto the site as well.

I fish effectively...

when I float fish with roe on the Vedder. :)
when I spin fish for salmon in the Fraser. :)
when I bottom fish for coarsefish. :)
