Can anyone suggest a good bottom fishing charter?

Where do you live?
Your best bet from WCVI is to hire  a guy like Ken Meyers out of Ukee-1-250-723-5252 and go for Halibut and Salmon at the same time.
There are no bottomfishing charters on the Inside.

There aren't really any charters specializing in bottom fishing, mainly because there isn't a whole lot to catch, bottom fhsing in Vancouver. What exactly are you after ? If you had halibut and lingcod/rockfish in mind, then you're in the wrong area. Not only are there very few of these speceies around here, but also the regs don' reallt allow you to fish from them anyway.

Sewell's Marina in Horseshoe Bay used to have a bottom fishing charter. Unfortunately Howe Sound is fished out.

West coast of VI still has quite a few bottom fish, so that'd probably be your best bet. I havn't heard much aboutt he sunshine coast, but I reckon it's similar in the regulations to the rest of the Georgia Straight.

Ya I guess.  I remember 18 years ago My grandpa took us out charter fishing (bottom fishing) from Bellingham it was fun.  My dad caught a yellow-eye about 40lb. It took 50 mins to land the fish.

I was thinking maybe bring my two kids bottom fishing but guess its only available in QCI and VI west coast.

Hey do you think salmon fishing might be hard for a 5 yrs old? She's always being fishing from pier or shore. (Float or bottom fishing)
The largest she'd caught, a 19 inch sculpin.

The 3 yrs old has only caught perch and herrings.
