I was just up in the Kamloops area (Paul Lake) this past weekend and a friend picked up 5 wood ticks on a short hike. The temp is getting below zero each nite but these little monsters were active.
Just a heads up guys....I don't usually even think about them until late April, early May but I guess they're starting early like everything else. :(

Thanks for the reminder, Pappy. I have a dog and will check her regularly. I also have a wife...should I check her? ???
-
TB - only if your chasing her around in the wood!! ;D

Terry, are there many ticks around the Vedder/Chilliwack river?
-
There are some ticks around this area but not the major concern that there is in the Interior. I don't check my dog after walking around this part of the world but should. Can't be too careful.

How many tick's could a wood tick tick if a wood tick could tick tick. :D

Hilarious! I love that one, Athezone.
How about this one,
How many wood tick ticks you can take before the wood tick ticks will tick you off ?
