Title: Salmon poachers jailed

A bit of news from my home town in Scotland, 2 poachers were given 24 and 30 months in jail last month, both had previous convictions for poaching,their van and equipment was also confiscated.those guys used cyanide and nets to poisen the fish (and all other living things in the water).unfortunately this is not uncommon as the continental market is hungry for wild salmon.

Can only hope they adopt similar practises over here (the jailing that is...).

So much politics involved, not enough is being done.

I wonder if the bonnie boys will be wearing their kilts in prison ;D  Good on the Scottish judge.
