i saw my whole spring dollie fishin flash before my eyes ;)

In the upper Pitt you realy dont need bait.Flies and spoons are great up there.Next they will ban jet boats up there!!!Time to get the old mtn bike out and get it ready to go fishin up there ;D ;D ;D

Not to worry if the bait ban even comes in effect in Tidal Fraser and Pitt, as those fiesty dollies will grab a spoon or spinner with no hesitation between April and June. :) Last year we had one amazing afternoon on May 30th with Chrome Mykiss as we were able to entice at least half a dozen fish in less than two hours. Some of those pictures are located on this page (http://www.fishingwithrod.com/fishing_photos/old08.html) (first two rows). ;) We also did pretty well on May 16th, hitting a couple of big ones just before dark. Water clarity during those two days were poor (a foot or less) but the fish had no trouble finding those vibrating spinners. Aggressive fish indeed, as they were slamming juvenile salmonids on the surface. If they can see those, there shouldn't be a problem for them to find the lures.
