Well it is that time for me to start thinking about those steelies! How has it been besides cold! Anybody fishin?

Itiching to go, but high winds, low water, cold temperature have precluded my going. Anyday now !!

If you are talking about the Vedder, the month of April will still be good for steelhead. Between now until the end of March, it'll be the bulk of the steelhead season, so it is definitely to go get a stamp if you are planning to go at least a few times.
That stamp ain't expensive by the way, try fishing at where I fished in Denmark last month. I had to pay $15 for a day pass each time. :-\

No problem. I've been told, or have seen that March is fantastic for steelies. Water temperature is slightly higher, fish are a bit more active. Not for me, I have not been able to get out in March due to work etc.

Last trip out between four of us we had 3 solid hookups. Was kinda crappy though because I suspect that mine was lost due to frozen rod guides >:( Oh well, I'll be back in B.C. soon enough
