Ok, so since the steelhead season is just days away, I thought I'd kick it off with a little "Name that river and the run" contest. With all the top rods here, this will be a snap.
Here's how it works, I'll post a picture of a certain river and you guess what river it is AND the run.
The prize is as follows,
One bag of previously experiencd swivels (Barrel and Snap) you pick up
Consolation prize - One bag of belly button lint and toe nail clippings (I'll mail)
This ones easy.

itosh, pics kinda small...but I'd say that looks like Johnny's hole (aka below the abutment ) on the Upper Vedder. 8)

How about the full sized one then:

-
Ohhh man...that's Rodney's prime coho honey hole. Look what you got yourself into itosh.......splashing someone's favorite hole all across the internet ;).

Thanks for the blowup DS! :D :D
And no it is not Rodney's honey hole....
It is a well known river but it not heavily discussed on this forum....
Pic was taken in about August and the tree should be a giveaway (I think)....
Shane
Edit** - Rodney has DQ'ed himself from this one!! ;D ;D
-
Lovely shot itosh no idea, but will wait for the answer. ;D

What's that grin for Chris? We know you know the spot too well ;D.

Skagit?

And we have the correct answer courtesy of DaveD!!
It is the Skagit, but I can't remember which day site it is taken from.
I guess it would be an easy guess for a flyfisher.
Shane
