U.S. Rules Out Dam Removal to Aid Salmon

The Bush administration will not remove federal dams on the Columbia and Snake Rivers to protect 11 endangered species of salmon and steelhead, even as a last resort.

you're right, dennisK, and he had to take off one shoe to come up with that number.

We're spending our money on making the world safe for electric power producers.  Don't expect any environmentally enlightened decisions during the next four years.

Georgie probably had his brother do the counting. They count funny in Florida. At least they used to 4-years ago. ::)

Well, either way it sucks, and I can see Hydro ending up going down the same path here :(
