I know a lot of you out there are good with photoshop. I have a question.
Say I have a background I like, and I want to lasso a layer, and put it over the back ground. The problem I am having, is the new layer I import is always the wrong size....way to big. How to I resize the new layer?
thanks dudes - VInce

<CTRL-T>
Free Transform
Copy new layer onto existing layer, and then while new layer is selected, choose <CTRL-T>

One more while I have you here....
do i always have to use the lasso to pull a person for example ...off of a picture, or is there some kind of magic tool that senses objects in the front of the picture?
does that make sense?

I use a tool called "Knock Out". Available Commercially or "otherwise".
