I know someone who caught a nice wild coho on the fly as well as his friend who caught a few coho on the weekend.

Nothing to show for our efforts yesterday. My son and I fished the upper slough above Deroche-nada.
Fished the lower slough on the flood tide in the evening.  Had a hook up on my first cast and then nothing for the balance. 6 shore anglers within sight had nothing and trolling boats had nothing. Plenty o' fish splashing about, some coho but mostly chum.

A little new to the slough, do you guys (gals) just cast spoons or is there another set.  If it is spoons what is the best colour . I'm asking because with work, family, yard work and reno's I only get about four hours of fishing in very 2 weeks and any help will avoid the guessing game.

Thanks in advance and tight lines

Saw a number of people out there last Saturday casting spinners and spoons
