Its raining out now, and i am going to collect worms. How should i store them so that they are nice and lively when i go fishing in a few days?

I have had fairly good success just putting them in dampened moss I gather from the woods.
The key is to keep them cool, I keep them in a old cooler with a frozen 1 or 2 litre pop bottle .
A fridge is good also put may not go over too good with the the other family members. ;D
Have thought of buying a small fridge to keep in the shed as would be good to store the roe as well as the dews.

my mom has this flower-box in the corner of the yard. About 5ft x 7 ft. I just pick them up and throw them in. Started that about 2 weeks ago and my little worm farm is working out pretty good so far.
Better cover them or you will be very disappointed when you're ready to go fishing

Thanks for the advices guys :) Man, sure beats buying them, as money is short (school). Right now i have them in a plastic container with filled with grass and leaves. Can't store them in the fridge, as moms nearly had a heart attack when she discovered our slimely friends last time and threw them out :P

if you want to condiciton them before you go which pretty much means pumping them up...
before the day you fish.. pick out the ones you want to use.. then rinse them clean.. after that take a clean bucket with a lid... like one for butter and stuff would be perfect. but it has to be clean. or eles you will kill them
then place the bottom with the soil which u keep them in. or worm bedding which is soil mixed with news paper... pack that tight... place in worms.. then a top it off with damp paper towel.. have enough towel to pack down on the worms. it wont kill them dont worry.
then put in the fridge for like 1-2days... and the worms will absorb the water and make it look jucier... thats if your going to use the entire worm... or eles is a waste if your just chopping it to peices :)
