The one that was at Lickman had a truck similar to the ones you see driving to construction sites. He had coffee, pastries, sandwiches and the usual drinks and junk food.

I avoid those places like the plague-they are anything but sanitary.  >:(
That guy @ Tamahi-where does he wash his hands after he uses the bathroom? ???
And what bathroom does he use when he's working? ???

I tend to bring my own lunch and eat at my spot.  No sense waisting time and money.  I always get what I want.  I also know where my hands have been ;D

If I were running a stand like that I'd use some of that alcohol-based waterless hand sanitizer.  Give the guy a break; he might be trying.

But in general as a society we're WAY too hung up on avoiding every last germ.  On Myth Busters recently they tested toothbrushes for fecal coliforms and found them EVERYWHERE, not just in the bathroom.  Humans are built to deal with less than laboratory sanitation.  It's mainly propaganda from advertising that has us convinced we have to kill everything we can't see.

Just keep yourself in shape and let your immune system do its job.  (dons fire retardant suit)

Nothing wrong with a guy trying to make an honest buck. His presence on the river might have a secondary effect of an extra set of eyes and ears to prevent the low lifes breaking into vehicles

what do you guys expect when you're out in the bush? ??? no such thing as sanitation when eating a sandwich, after gutting a fish....or after 'mother nature' calls.  washing your hands in the vedder (without soap), don't exactly count. ;D
