Title: The Mouth of the Pitt
Post by: Overboard on September 28, 2004, 01:25:30 PM
My parents just bought a condo and thier boat slip is right at the mouth of the Pitt.   My question is about the Sturgeon fishing in the area.  I figure that if I bring the trusty old ugly stick to thier place when I visit will I get into some fish or is the boat traffic to high and is it to shallow?

Yes there is some fishing there.  I have been trying all year to get out sturgeon fishing for the first time with my new rod & reel.  Go see the guys at Jamers and ask them.  They were very helpfull with me.  I assume that your parents are by the Gillnetter.

I just PM'd Rodney and gave him the schedule I know about for this month.  It keeps getting worse :'(  I think I'll quit and become a house husband :o  More time for fishing ;D
