Title: Prow Cure Wizard egg cure
Post by: fullahead on September 25, 2004, 08:56:13 AM
Monday the Sept.20 I caught a nice chrome Coho with pink wool, in the pocket water below the Ranger run. I tried curing the eggs for the first time, with Pro Cure Wizard egg cure. I bought a Spawnee egg sack jug, and made up egg sacks with the Coho roe. Last year I caught a nice steelhead with roe sacks I purchased from the tackle store. So what my Question follow fishermen/ladies is with the cured Coho roe, will that work on Coho white springs or steelhead, and if you cured white spring egg in the same way would that work on steelhead? Thank you in advance for any ones in put.

Hi there Fullahead, you should'nt have any problem hooking up with different species of fish as long as you cure the roe correctly. Remember when you add the cure don't burn the roe. By that I mean don't leave it on to too
long as it will harden the eggs and fish don't appreciate eating crackers. Soft and supple is best, with just a flash of colour. Good Luck :D.
