Went there yesterday (5:00-8:00 pm) and lots of nice looking fish in Cable pool, but they wouldn't go for anything we offered. As far as I know, everybody else got skunked too.

Just on the off hand that anyone wants a report. Fished up top this morning (And every 2nd to 3rd morning for the past 6 weeks,) and there are and have been fish in there consistently (fresh ones). The last 2 days there has been a sharp increase in the fish again, so I guess there have been some getting past the weirs. There has also been an increase in the number of fishers there too, but still managable.
Bye the way, I am moving to calgary on monday. Anyone know of a fishing site for calgarians?

Yep Calgary. Go flames go ;D
I will leave my gear here and head over for a mid octtober and november trip if I can. Its definately going to hurt when a big fish in calgary is a 5 lber. Oh well. born to fish forced to work.

You'll have to trade in your white towel for a green hardhat :o
-
Jon,
You can fish the Bow from Calgary to Carseland. The lower section boasts 2000+ fish per mile. Mostly rainbows and brown trout.
-
Hey thanks for all the replies everyone, I think the fishing there will be good (except that the fish are all small by bc standards.). Anyways, I guess I may post some reports on my new rivers once in a while. ;D
Cheers,
Jon
