BG, was that a charter or did you take your own boat.  Do you fish there often?

That is my third trip to Ucluelet, go to the Canadian Princess resort.  Wish that I had my own boat but don't so charter for 100 bucks a day!  Not the best but I enjoy it!  Fly in package is very reasonable!

Nice pics BG...hali's too.

Yes I called it the poor mans guided trip (Canadian Princess package)...went in 89, but during Sept. Not many springs but ho's galore. No hali's though. Surprisingly the price is still about the same after 15 years. Hmmm...wonder if the better half would like to go.  ;)

the price is still the same as it was six years ago!  I prefer this to trolling as you actually do the fishing!  You are always doing something and you meet some excellent people!  I think we will go back next year!   Late July seems to be the best time.   Those are just two of the five springs that I boated!  Coho were tricky, i could not believe how fast they were able to get off the hooks!

Nice fish Bill, was the ripper along?

He would be able to work those jigs very well that I believe they use there. ;D ;D

Chris, the ripper had to work!  Although he wanted to get his wrists in shape for the fall!   His technique needs practice since he didnt get a lot of action last year!   I wonder if he resents us calling him ripper???  Did u call him that when you met him? ;D ;)
