Title: WTB: Jig blanks
Post by: Sir Snag-A-Lot on October 23, 2022, 12:04:56 PM
I'm hoping to buy a decent quantity (50+) of jig blanks. Good quality hooks, 3/8 and 1/2oz. Unpainted heads is fine. The ones at the local shop are too expensive. Anyone know about any decent sources?

Amazon. Have to search a little bit but once you find good ones it works out to 45 cents per jig..

biggest problem I've had with american jig heads is the hooks are too weak for salmon. they are all for trout or bass. or walleye. they bend.

if you find one at .45 each AND has a strong salmon hook please direct message me or post the link here. thanks

I do have around 70 from my previous project. Top quality paint and hooks. Around  50 black, 10 chartreuse, sparkle blue,...
$70 for all

Just saw this...

If still in the market for some jig head blanks, FWR member Gooey makes and sells them. He uses good quality sickle hooks.

He's posted his email address on here before. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll reach out to him and see if I can forward his phone number.
