I heard that sockeye are closed as of midnight but the FN get six more days.
:o :o :o
Is this rumour true??
-
Not likely. DFO usually gives couple of days notice.
-
nothing listed on DFO rec site yet
but i do expect it to be closed when the next major push comes through
also the cultus lake sockeye will be in soon
so look for designated area closings

I don't think they'll close it before Sunday midnight. They've never shut it down unannounced before (that I can remember). Let's hope they don't start something new. ::)

Take the lead Max, I'll be right behind you demanding a refund ! :)

Didn't get any notices. The next expected Fraser River Panel will be on Friday, August 13th. An update should be available in the afternoon. I believe that is when they will be making decisions on openings and closures for the late summer runs.
