Anybody else notice the large number of chinook caught yesterday on the second set ? Maybe just a typo but who knows http://www-ops2.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fos2_Internet/Testfish/rptdtfdparm.cfm?fsub_id=227.

Vedder gets a small late October push usually

Yeah, but look at the report - it must be an error. Between 0 and 4 chinook per day for the whole month before, then all of a sudden yesterday has 98?

It’s an error some put the total fish fought in the chinook place

So does the Harrison!

Clearly a misprint. Something totally amiss with this test fishery anyhow. 2 weeks ago they had caught 4 steelhead, now its 2, shady reporting, not a surprise in the least.
Over 500 Chums yesterday?, can you say Commercial opening soon to come and at the very least, another week of beach seine raping.
Like all things DFO, not to be trusted.

subtotal errors are frequent in those tables. The chum total for the Nov 1 2nd set is 96 and the chinook total is 97 while the 1st set for chinook is 1. Looks lie the chinook subtotal was transposed up to the 2nd set for the 1st. Understand?
It may take them a week to find it and fix it or then again they may not bother.

change the reporting dates and you will find the other 2 steelhead caught more than a month ago. Test dates only go back 30 days

I totally agree with this statement. Just like when we received the steelhead assessment survey on how many you caught and where, throughout the angling calendar year. People would pad their numbers thinking that the person reading the data would think they are a top rod! More harm than good!
Anyways, it felt like ironhead season on the flow this morning! :D Fresh!

Yes but year to date totals are at the bottom

You may want to try changing dates, totals also change when you do. The totals on the bottom are for the period of time chosen. That’s why the steelhead number today is zero when the report is run

well I ran it from Jan 1st to today. The chinook discrepancy for Nov 1st is gone. It is just 1 chinook for 2 sets.
